i have never done a 60 month loan and i have sworn i never would... but with how much cars are costing these days i'm wondering if i will have to do a 60 month loan on my next car.
that is five frigg'in years!
i paid cash for my last car ($4,500 - 1999 ford contour se, used) so i had no payments to make.
NEW YORK (CNN) - In one of the largest recalls in automaker history, Ford Motor Co. said Wednesday it is recalling 3.8 million pickup trucks and SUVs for a cruise control switch that has caused engine fires, even with the vehicle parked and the engine off.The recall includes 1994-2002 model-years of F-150 pickup truck, Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and Ford Broncos.
Ford had already recalled more than 1 million year 2000 vehicles in two separate recalls to replace the cruise control switch.
Need I say more.

now we know where gw gets his "compassionate conservatism" from:.
hurricane katrina victims in houston, texas were "underprivileged anyway" and life in the astrodome sports arena is "working very well for them," former first lady barbara bush says....
I stand firmly by my previously made post in this thread because it's nothing but the pure truth.
There were lots of people that were affected by the hurricane Charlie in my area, my family and I being some of them.
When it was all said and done and my family and I received all the insurance, local, and federal help available, we were lleft able to remodel our homes much better than if the disaster hadn't happened to us at all. I know plenty of people that ended up with much better homes and in better economical standing than prior to Charlie. So there!

My relatives are forever faithful to American made cars/van/trucks. They've all been horrible!
Stay away, if possible, from American brands.

Depending on the car.
I bought a nice import on a 60-month loan and it's all paid for already and still looking and running like new. It's so good that I'm planning to drive it for another good 8 years or so. I mean this car is absolutely fabulous!
During the 60 months I was paying for it, all I did was schedule the regular oil change and change tires/balance/align them once; all that is normal wear and tear in any car.
I have friends that have taken 60-month loans in American made cars/trucks and have had to trade them in by the 4th year. American made cars are horrible!
Depending on what you're willing to spend, stick with Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Acura, Lexus, Infinity, and higher. That's my take on it.

Well, to be completely truthful, when these people receive all the help they're supposed to according to all of these donations received from so many people/agencies, YES, a large majority of them will be better off than they ever were their whole lives with their own effort.
So, YES, in the majority of cases of the people that came out of the New Orleans area, although politically incorrect, her comment was right on target.
I mean, could you believe the level of poverty these people lived on? For a while there I was in disbelief that these communities existed in this the most powerful and supposedly rich nation in the world!
YES, undoubtedly in my mind, many many of these people will be all set. Their kids will all most likely receive scholarships to college, etc., etc., etc.

to give you some quick details, my ex-wife and her two sisters were repeatedly raped and molested for years by their jw father.
we went to the elders, and as you probably know, nothing ever really happened to him, all he got was privately reproved.
well,...fast forward,, i remarried and have a wonderfull wife who is also an ex-jw.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope that woman has enough sense to leave him right then and there.

the bible was one of the few books many of the refugees had among their possessions.
on friday, several jehovahs witnesses walked the floor of the astrodome, where thousands of cots were set up, to offer their services.
what "services"... buncha weenies!
"Their services" means peddling their literature and a Bible study, of course.

until we hear otherwise, we are directing those looking for missing loved ones to the red cross missing persons registry shown below.
The Red Cross and the Salvation Army did an excellent job last year in my area during Charlie. Therefore, I'll make my donations to both of those organizations.
They helped EVERYONE, not just their own such as JWs do.
